Understanding the data
AI Visibility
The percentage of AI answers that name your brand. One answer is one prompt on one AI platform; answers Prism could not collect are left out.
Appears in: AI Intelligence
Prism counts one answer per prompt per platform. AI Visibility = answers that name your brand ÷ all answers collected for the date and filters. Answers that Prism could not collect are left out.
AI Visibility Share = your AI Visibility ÷ the sum of all tracked brands' AI Visibility.
A citation is a page that an AI answer links to as a source. The page cards count each page once, even if it is cited many times. A mention is when an answer names your brand.
Example
For example, you track 20 prompts on 3 platforms. Prism collected all 60 answers. 18 answers name your brand, so Answers Mentioning Me is 18 and AI Visibility is 18 ÷ 60 = 30%.
Say competitor A has 45% and competitor B has 25%. The total is 30 + 45 + 25 = 100, so your AI Visibility Share is 30 ÷ 100 = 30%. Competitor A leads the AI Visibility Leaderboard, so open Competitors to see where they win.
Tips
- Check the Answer Position Distribution. Being named first in an answer matters more than being named fourth.
- Use the category filter to find topics where you are weak.
- Read a few answers in full. The numbers tell you where; the answer tells you why.

It is your AI Visibility divided by the total AI Visibility of all tracked brands, including you. It shows your share against the competitors you track.
Why is the trend chart empty or flat?
