Where to find it in Prism:AI IntelligenceSentiments

What is it?

The Sentiments screen shows the tone AI answers use about your brand. You find it under AI Intelligence in your Prism sidebar. The screen says: "How AI models describe your brand — positive, neutral, or negative."

Sentiment means whether the answer sounds positive, neutral or negative about you.

Why use it?

  • To find answers that describe your brand badly.
  • To learn what AI tools think are your strengths and weaknesses.
  • To get ideas for content that changes how you are described.

Before you start

You need an LLM project with answers for the selected date.

How to use it

  1. Open Sentiments

In the sidebar, open AI Intelligence, then click Sentiments.

  2. Pick a sentiment

Click All, Positive, Neutral or Negative to filter the detail table.

  3. Read the distribution

Check Sentiment Distribution and the recommendation under each bar.

  4. Read the detail table

Search the table, read Perception and Strategic Implications, then click View → to read the full answer. Click Export if you need a copy.

Understanding the screen

Sentiment Distribution

"Based on AI-generated descriptions of your brand". The header shows the total, for example 50 total prompts.

There is one bar each for ✅ Positive, ⚪ Neutral and ❌ Negative. Each bar shows the number of prompts and its %. Under each bar is a recommendation: the most common strategic implication for that sentiment. When there is none, Prism shows these defaults:

SentimentDefault recommendation
PositiveReinforce with more success stories & case studies
NeutralAdd opinionated, concrete content to shift neutral → positive
NegativeAddress pricing & trust objections with targeted content

Understanding the data

Sentiment

Whether an AI answer talks about your brand in a Positive, Neutral or Negative way.

Appears in: AI Intelligence → Sentiments

Each bar's % = answers with that sentiment ÷ all answers that have a sentiment, for your filters. Prism checks each prompt on each platform on its own, so one prompt can be counted once per platform. That is why the counts are labelled prompts but can be higher than your number of prompts.

Example

For example, the distribution shows 20 positive, 25 neutral and 5 negative prompts. You click Negative. Three answers on one platform say your product is expensive. The Strategic Implications column points to pricing. You click View → to read one answer in full. Then you write a clear pricing comparison page and check the screen again on a later date.

Tips

  • Read negative answers in full with View →.
  • Neutral answers are a chance to give AI tools more concrete facts about you.
  • See Reading an AI answer for the answer pop-up.

Frequently asked questions

What are the three sentiment types?

Positive, Neutral and Negative. Use the pills at the top to show one type or All.

Where do the recommendations come from?

Each bar shows the most common strategic implication for that sentiment. When there is none, Prism shows a default recommendation.

Do the sentiment pills change the Sentiment Distribution?

No. The distribution always shows all three types. The pills filter the detail table.

Can I export the sentiment table?

Yes. Click Export on the Sentiment Detail table. The file is made on the server and opens in a new tab.
