12 min read Updated
What is it?
The Unified Dashboard is a one-screen summary of your whole project. A project is everything about one website or brand in Prism (see project).
The page header says Cross-product overview. On one screen you see:
- a Composite Visibility score from 0 to 100, with four sub-scores
- Key insights written from your own data
- a card with your Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Search Console (GSC) numbers
- one card for each channel: Google SERP, Bing, AI Intelligence, Play Store, App Store and YouTube
- the traffic that AI assistants send to your site
- your top Google search queries
Why use it?
- To check, in one glance, how visible your brand is across web search, app stores, video and AI answers.
- To see what changed since the last time your rankings were checked.
- To see your organic traffic and top queries without opening a full report.
- To share a PDF summary with your team or client.
Before you start
- Connect GA4 and Search Console. See Connect your data.
- Ranking and AI channels need a tracking project linked to your project. Your admin sets these up in Project settings.

Understanding the screen
Dates on this screen
The Unified Dashboard uses the date range in the top bar. The sub-heading shows it, for example Last 28 days across GA4 + Search Console, Google SERP, Bing, Play Store, App Store, YouTube and LLM rankings.
- Ranking and AI channels use the days that were checked (crawled) inside your range. The newest checked day gives the numbers. The day checked before it gives the change.
- GA4 and Search Console use a window of the same length that ends three days before today, because Google needs time to finish its numbers. They are compared with the preceding period of the same length.
Read more in Date ranges and compare.
Modules active counter
At the top right you see, for example, 5 / 7 modules active. There are seven modules: GA4 + Search Console (counted once) and the six channels. A module counts as active when it is set up for this project and you have access to it. It still counts if it has no data in your range.
The small logos next to the counter show which modules are active. Hover over the counter to see their names.
Export PDF
Click Export PDF to download the whole dashboard as a PDF file. The button shows Exporting… while the file is made. See Exporting tables.
Composite Visibility
Composite Visibility is one score from 0 to 100 that sums up how visible your brand is across all channels. Higher is better.
How it is calculated:
- Prism takes the latest visibility of each channel that has data in your range. See the table below for how each channel's visibility works.
- It adds them up and divides by the number of channels. Every channel counts the same.
The line next to the score says, for example, Average across 4 of 6 channels with recent data. Channels with no data in your range, and channels you can't access, are left out. If no channel has data, you see No channel in this master project has recent ranking data yet.
| Channel | What its visibility means |
|---|---|
| Google SERP, Bing, Play Store, App Store, YouTube | The share of your tracked keywords that rank in the top 10 on the latest checked day. For example, 30 of 100 keywords in the top 10 gives 30. |
| AI Intelligence | The share of AI answers that mention your brand on the latest checked day. Each tracked prompt on each AI platform counts as one answer. For example, your brand appears in 45 of 150 answers, which gives 30. |
If more than one tracking project is linked for a channel, Prism combines them.
vs prev
The vs prev badge shows how much the score moved, in points. Prism looks at each channel's change since its previous checked day, then averages those changes. For example, +2.4 vs prev means the channels went up by 2.4 points on average. The badge is hidden when there is no change.
Sub-scores
Four smaller scores sit next to the main score. Each is the average visibility of its channels:
| Sub-score | Channels | Line under the bar |
|---|---|---|
| Web Search | Google SERP and Bing | Google + Bing |
| App Stores | Play Store and App Store | Play Store + App Store |
| Video | YouTube | YouTube · N in top 10 (keywords in the top 10) |
| AI Visibility | AI Intelligence | LLM · N mentions (answers that mention your brand) |
Each sub-score shows its change in percentage points, such as +1.5pp. When a sub-score has no number, the line says No data in this range (a channel is set up but has no data for these dates) or Not assigned (no channel in the group is set up).
Key insights
Key insights shows up to three short notes, written from the scores above. They can be:
| Insight | Example | What it tells you |
|---|---|---|
| Biggest mover | Bing +4pp — "Visibility moved from 22% to 26% since the previous sync." | The channel whose visibility changed the most. |
| Leading channel | Google SERP leads · 38% — "Strongest channel right now — 9.5 pts above the composite score." | Your strongest channel. |
| Best AI platform | ChatGPT 52% — "Best AI platform for brand mentions, +3pp since the previous crawl." | The AI platform that mentions your brand most often. |
| Weakest channel | App Store 8% — "Lowest visibility across your channels — worth a closer look." | The channel that needs attention. |
If no channel has data yet, you see Insights appear once a channel has synced ranking data.
GA4 + Search Console card
The wide card under the strip is labelled Analytics layer and GA4 + Search Console. It compares your range with the period before, for example Last 28 days vs previous period. Click the card to open the Analytics screen.
| Side | Headline number | Other numbers |
|---|---|---|
| GA4 · Organic traffic | organic sessions | Users, New users, Engaged sessions, Engagement rate, Avg. session, Conversions |
| Search Console | organic clicks | Impressions, CTR, Avg position |
A session is one visit to your website. CTR is clicks divided by impressions. Each number shows its change against the preceding period. Counts change in %, rates change in points (pts), and Avg position changes in places, where a drop is good.
At the bottom of the card you may see:
- N sessions referred by AI assistants (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude) — GA4 visits that came from an AI assistant.
- Top query: your search query with the most clicks, with its clicks and position.
If only one source is connected, the other side says Google Analytics is not connected for this master project. or Search Console is not connected for this master project.
Channel cards
There are six channel cards. Click a card with numbers to open that channel's screen.
| Card | Headline number | Other numbers |
|---|---|---|
| Google SERP, Bing Rankings, Play Store, App Store, YouTube Ranking | avg position | Top-3, Top-10, Visibility |
| AI Intelligence | brand visibility | Mentions, Avg Rank, AI Platforms |
- The line under each ranking card title shows the number of tracked keywords and linked tracking projects.
- avg position is the average rank of your keywords that rank, on the latest checked day. Lower is better. Position 1 is the top result.
- Top-3 and Top-10 count keywords ranking in those places.
- Each small number shows its change since the previous checked day. Green means better.
- The AI Intelligence card also lists Visibility by platform, with a bar for each AI platform and its change in pts.
When a card has no numbers
A card shows a badge and a message instead of numbers:
| Badge | Message | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| Not assigned | No Google SERP project is assigned to this master project. (and the same for the other channels) | No tracking project for this channel is linked to your project. |
| No access | You don't have access to Google SERP for this master project. | The channel is set up, but your account can't see it. |
| No data | A Google SERP project is assigned, but it has no data for the selected date range. | Nothing was checked in your date range. Try a longer range. |
| Not connected | No Google Analytics or Search Console property is connected to this master project. | Neither GA4 nor Search Console is connected. Click Connect now to open Integrations. |
| No access | You don't have access to GA4 + Search Console for this master project. | GA4 or Search Console is connected, but your account can't see it. |
Request access
On a Not assigned or No access card, click Request access to ask for that channel. The Techmagnate team reviews your request. The button then changes to show where your request stands:
| What you see | What it means |
|---|---|
| Sending… | Prism is sending your request. |
| Request pending | Your request is waiting for review. |
| Approved · being set up | Your request was approved. The channel is being set up for you. |
| Previous request declined | Your request was declined. A note may explain why. Click Request again to ask again. |
If the request can't be sent, you see Could not send the request. Try again in a moment.
KPI cards
Two cards sit below the channel cards:
- Organic Sessions (GA4) — visits from unpaid search results in your range.
- LLM Referral Traffic — sub-line GA4 source = AI assistants. These are GA4 sessions that came from an AI assistant. See LLM referral traffic.
Each card shows its % change against the preceding period and a small trend line. If GA4 is not connected, the card says Google Analytics not connected.
Traffic & Search Console
This section starts with status chips, such as GA4 connected or GSC not connected, and the Open full analytics → link.
Traffic from LLMs
Traffic from LLMs shows one card for each AI assistant that sent you visits, such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, Copilot or Grok. Each card shows sessions and the change, for example ▲ +12.5% vs prev. If the assistant sent no visits last period, it says ▲ new vs prev.
The LLM share of referral traffic bar shows how the AI traffic is split. Short codes label each part: CG (ChatGPT), PX (Perplexity), GM (Gemini), CL (Claude), CP (Copilot) and GK (Grok).
GA4 · Organic traffic
This panel shows Sessions, Users, Conversions and Eng. Rate (engagement rate), each with its change vs prev. Below them, a chart draws organic sessions per day for This period (solid line) and Previous period (dashed line).
GSC · Top queries
This list shows your top 5 Google search queries by clicks. For each query you see impressions, CTR, position and clicks. It also shows how clicks and position changed against the previous period. A query that had no clicks last period shows ▲ new.
Example
For example, your dashboard shows Composite Visibility 31.0 / 100 with Average across 4 of 6 channels with recent data. Google SERP is 40, Bing is 20, YouTube is 24 and AI Intelligence is 40. (40 + 20 + 24 + 40) ÷ 4 = 31. Play Store and App Store say Not assigned, so they are left out. Under Key insights, Bing 20% says "Lowest visibility across your channels — worth a closer look." You click the Bing Rankings card to see which keywords dropped.
Tips
- Use this screen as a daily health check. If a number looks odd, click the card to open the full report.
- Use Last 7 days to see the latest changes, and Last 1 year for the long view.
- GA4 sessions and Search Console clicks will never match exactly. They come from separate tracking systems. See Reading charts.

Frequently asked questions
Can I change the date range on the Unified Dashboard?
Yes. Use the date range button in the top bar. Pick Last 7 days, Last 28 days, Last 1 year or a custom range. The whole dashboard updates.
How is the Composite Visibility score calculated?
It is the plain average of the visibility of each channel that has data in your date range. Each channel's visibility is a score from 0 to 100.
What does 5 / 7 modules active mean?
Five of the seven modules are set up for this project and open to you. The seven modules are GA4 + Search Console and the six channels: Google SERP, Bing, AI Intelligence, Play Store, App Store and YouTube.
Why does a card say Not assigned?
No tracking project for that channel is linked to your project. Click Request access to ask for it.
Why do my GA4 numbers end a few days before today?
Google needs a few days to finish its numbers. GA4 and Search Console use a window of the same length that ends three days before today.
