Frequently asked questions
How do I open Advanced Analytics?
Open Analytics (GA4 + GSC) and click Advanced Analytics. Your project needs the Advanced Analytics add-on, and GA4 or Search Console must be connected.
Why does the Advanced Analytics button show a lock?
Your project does not have the add-on, or you have no access to it. You see Advanced Analytics is not accessible. Ask your admin.
What does Compare do?
Compare shows a second period next to your range. In Advanced Analytics it is on by default. You can pick Preceding period, Same period last year or Custom.
How can I group my URLs into categories?
Use Category Builder. Regex Rules match the URL path and query string, checked top to bottom. Excel Upload maps exact URLs to categories from a file of up to 10 MB.
Can the AI Agent build my categories?
Not yet. The AI Agent method shows Coming soon. Use Regex Rules or Excel Upload for now.
What do the Anomaly Wizard and Opportunity Finder need?
Both compare your range with the period just before it. The Anomaly Wizard works best with GA4 and Search Console. Opportunity Finder needs Search Console.
How do I set up AI visibility tracking?
An admin creates an LLM project on the LLM Tool tab of Project settings. They add the brand, up to 3 competitors, the AI platforms, a frequency and prompts.
Can Prism write my prompts for me?
Yes. Choose Generate with AI in the prompts section. Prism reads your website and drafts 1 to 100 prompts per run that you can edit.
What are AI prompt credits?
Each prompt the generator writes uses 1 credit, including when you regenerate. When none are left, ask your admin for more, or upload prompts from Excel.
Which search channels can Prism track rankings on?
Google, Bing, Google Play Store, Apple App Store and YouTube. Each channel needs its own tracking project in Project settings.
Can I see the results page behind a ranking?
Yes, on Google SERP, Bing and Google Play Store. Click a position on the Keywords tab. The snapshot opens in a new tab, so allow pop-ups for Prism.
How do I add or remove keywords?
An admin uses Keyword Setting in the Client panel. Use Add Single Keyword or Bulk Upload Keywords. To stop tracking one, set its Status to Inactive.
What is the difference between Bulk Insert and Update All?
Bulk Insert only adds new keywords. Update All also marks every keyword missing from your file as inactive, so use it only with your full list.
Do the AI Intelligence screens have a compare period?
No. Changes on the AI Intelligence screens compare with the previous date that has data.
