Create Your Account

Sign up for Prism, verify your email with a 6-digit code, sign in, and understand every message on the sign-up and sign-in screens.

You need a Prism account to see your reports. This page shows you how to sign up, verify your email, sign in, and what each message means.

Before you start

Use your work email address. Your admin links projects to your email, so use the same one they know.
Use a real email address that can receive mail. Prism sends a code to it. Temporary or "throwaway" email addresses are not accepted.
Choose a password with at least 8 characters.
Has your admin already added you to a project? Then you already have an account. Do not sign up. See If you were invited by email.

Open the sign-up page
On the sign-in page, click Sign Up next to "Don't have an account?". You will see Create your account.
Fill in your details
Enter your First Name, Last Name, Email Address and Contact Number (a 10-digit number). You can also pick an Organization Type: Agency or Client. This one is optional. Leave it as Not specified if you are not sure.
Choose a password
Type a Password. It must have at least 8 characters. Click the eye button to see what you typed.
Accept the terms
Tick the box to agree to the Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
Create the account
Click Create Account. The button shows Creating account… while it works.
Verify your email
A box called Verify your email opens. Prism has emailed you a 6-digit code. The email subject looks like "123456 is your Prism verification code". Type the code in Verification code and click Verify email.
Start using Prism
You see Email verified — signing you in…. Prism signs you in and opens the Prism panel.

If you click Later

You can close the box with Later. Your account is still created, but it is not active yet. You see Account created successfully! and then "Redirecting you to sign in… If you haven't verified your email yet, you'll be asked for the code when you sign in."

The next time you sign in, Prism sends a fresh code and asks for it before it lets you in.

About the code

The code works for 10 minutes.
You can type a wrong code up to 5 times. After that, ask for a new code.
Each new code replaces the old one.

Open Prism
Go to the sign-in page. You will see Sign in to your account.
Enter your email and password
Type your Email Address and Password. Click the eye button if you want to see the password as you type.
Choose Remember me (optional)
Tick Remember me if you want Prism to fill in your email next time on this browser.
Click Sign In
The button shows Signing in…. Then Prism opens the Prism panel, where your reports are.

If your email is not verified yet, the Verify your email box opens. It says "Your email isn't verified yet. We sent a 6-digit code to … — enter it to finish signing in." Enter the code and click Verify email. Prism then signs you in.

If you were invited by email

When an admin adds you to a project, Prism emails you. The subject is "You've been added to [project name] on Prism".

If you are new to Prism, the email says "We've created an account for you". It shows your email and a temporary password. Click Sign in & change password. The sign-in page opens with your email already filled in.
If you already have an account, the email has a Sign in to Prism button. Sign in with your usual password.

After you sign in with a temporary password, a box called Set your password opens. It says "You're signed in with a temporary password. Choose your own password for …". Choose a new password and confirm it with the emailed code. See Change your password.

You can click Later to skip it for now. The box comes back each time you open Prism until you set your own password.

If you forget your password

Click Forgot password? on the sign-in page, next to Remember me. Prism emails you a 6-digit code. You enter the code and a new password, and you are done. Full steps: Reset a forgotten password.

If you know your current password and just want a new one, change your password from the account menu.

Common issues

Message	What it means	What to do
All fields are required	A sign-up field is empty.	Fill in every field, then try again.
You must agree to the Terms & Conditions before creating an account.	The terms box is not ticked.	Tick the box and click Create Account again.
Temporary or disposable email addresses can't be used. Please sign up with your work or personal email.	You used a throwaway email service.	Use your work or personal email.
The email domain "…" can't receive email. Please check the address.	The part after the @ looks wrong.	Check the spelling of your email.
User already exists	An account with this email already exists.	Sign in instead. If you forgot the password, use Forgot password?.
An account with this email or mobile number already exists	Another account uses this email or contact number.	Sign in, or use a different contact number.
This email is already registered but not verified yet. Enter the code we sent to your email.	You signed up before but never entered the code.	Enter the new code in the Verify your email box.
Email and password required	You left the email or password empty on the sign-in page.	Fill in both fields.
Invalid credentials	The email or password is wrong.	Check for typing mistakes. Or use Forgot password?.
Incorrect code — 4 attempts left.	The code you typed is wrong.	Check the latest email and type the code again.
This code has expired. Request a new code.	More than 10 minutes have passed.	Click Resend code.
Too many wrong attempts. Request a new code.	You typed a wrong code 5 times.	Click Resend code and use the new code.
Server error	Something went wrong on the Prism side.	Wait a moment and try again. If it keeps happening, contact support.

Frequently asked questions

Why do I need to enter a code after I sign up?

Prism checks that your email address is real. It emails you a 6-digit code. Enter it in the Verify your email box to activate your account.

Does Remember me keep me signed in?

No. Remember me only remembers your email address on this browser. You still type your password each time you sign in.

I forgot my password. How do I reset it?

Click Forgot password? on the sign-in page. Prism emails you a 6-digit code. Enter the code and your new password, then click Reset password.

My admin added me to a project. Should I sign up?

No. Prism already created your account and emailed you a temporary password. Use the link in the email to sign in, then set your own password.

What does User already exists mean?

An account with that email address already exists. Sign in with it instead of signing up again.
